Founded in 1993 in Escondido, California, Spear & Associates, Inc. was created to offer comprehensive civil engineering, land surveying, and land development services throughout Southern California. What began as a two-person operation, led by founders Ray Spear and Dan Fluke, has grown steadily—while maintaining the personalized service and hands-on approach that set us apart from the beginning.

Ray and Dan launched Spear & Associates during the economic downturn of the early '90s—backed by years of combined experience in civil engineering design and land surveying. Since their retirement, our team proudly carries forward their commitment to professionalism, integrity, and innovation.
